Siena has had a lot of accomplishments, over the years, and we would like to share some of them with you in the following pages.  However, before you can really understand SIENA KENNELS, you must first meet Mitzi Cupp-Weeks and her Family.

Mitzi has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the Australian Shepherd breed, and collects photographs of some of the old Foundation Dogs which appear in her pedigrees.  She has generously donated the use of those photographs to the Foundation Dogs Website, to benefit all of those interested in the Breed.

Siena Kennels has both Australian Shepherds and Chinese Cresteds. While Mitzi has been involved with the Aussies for most of her life, the Cresteds are a relatively new addition to the kennel. Due to time constraints, many of them are co-owned with Susan Whitman of Morning Dove Farm, who has more time to spend on the care of Powderpuff coats.

Mitzi's other interest and hobby is Birds!  Both the indoor and outdoor varieties!
