First and foremost, Mitzi Cupp-Weeks is a devoted wife to Jack, and adoring mother of

Jaclyn,Hanna,Jayme, and three year old Jackson.  Their many activities keep her busy and

on the go. The family also includes Australian Shepherds, Chinese Cresteds, an assortment

of birds, reptiles, and ponies. The girls are active, attending shows with their mother,

and competing in Junior Handling, as well as numerous school and community activities.

This is Mitzi with her very first Australian Shepherd. She is thankful for all she learned

about the Breed from this dog. She looks like a child in this picture, but was actually

already an adult.

As Mitzi grew up, and learned more about the Breed, the quality of her dogs got better

and better. She went from being a good Junior Handler, to being an excellent owner/handler,

finishing over fifty dogs, in the process.  About twenty of those dogs were her own.  In time,

Mitzi became an ASCA Senior Breeder/Judge, then a Rare Breed Judge.  She travels to many

different parts of the country, every year, on judging assignments.  And, since that and

raising a family of four children didn't keep her busy enough, she also started teaching

handling classes in the Kansas City area.  Most of her students have gone on to point and/or

finish their own Champions, many of which were bred by Mitzi.
